With sadness, we received the news yesterday of the sudden passing of Lampeter Town and Ceredigion County Councillor Hag Harris.
Hag was the first Chair of the Board at Tai Ceredigion. He was a tower of strength during the stock transfer and, as part of the Board, made a significant impact on the way both staff and the business grew in the early years.
Hag always had a keen interest in the work of Barcud for the good of social housing in Ceredigion and was very supportive during the merger in 2020.
His support, enthusiasm and humour were infectious and he loved nothing more than to challenge – always bringing out the best in people.
He was a good friend, a character in the community and a very knowledgeable and kind-hearted human being who will be missed greatly.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
