“It is important that every member of our staff is aware of Customer Service. The way we speak, the way we behave, the way we conduct ourselves in our working day affects us all - our team, our colleagues our tenants and Barcud as a business. Poor reputation – both internally and externally could affect everyone’s future”.
We keep busy by managing, upgrading and providing housing solutions for people across mid and West Wales – from the Shropshire boarders, through Powys, Ceredigion,North Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
We achieve great results by investing in the best team and want all our staff to care about the work we do. Every department in our business works towards achieving the same goal. We care. And we’re proud of that.
We are a registered social landlord who provide a wide range of social housing – flats, houses, bungalows and sheltered accommodation for rent as well as properties for rent on an intermediate basis which is more than social rent, but importantly, less than the private sector market.
We also have new build developments offering more creative ways to support local people to get on the property ladder and secure homes close to work and family in our rural communities in Ceredigion, Powys, North Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire through shared ownership (see our main website for further details and locations).
Ceredigion and rural mid Wales has strong Welsh speaking communities and we pride ourselves in employing Welsh speakers and actively encourage bilingualism in everything we do.
You speak Welsh? Great! You don’t? Not a problem, we can help. Welsh classes and mentoring are available for those staff members that want to learn the language or just brush up on skills.
We’re always on the look out for new staff. If you take pride in what you do, are a team player and are a good communicator, we need to talk.
